The Curology cleanser: a balancing act

Beyond gently cleaning your skin, the cleanser is formulated with a special combination of plant sugars. These ingredients create a unique barrier effect that locks moisture into skin, keeping your skin naturally hydrated and balanced. Anti-inflammatory oat extract also soothes your skin, which may leave it looking and feeling calmer. No matter your skin type, treating your skin to a gentler clean (and letting your Curology superbottle do the heavy lifting!) is a good way to guarantee a happier, healthier complexion.

Each bottle in the Curology set comes in a 2-month supply. To make the cleanser last the full 2 months, apply a thin layer to cleanse your face, once in the morning and once again at night. Gently massage the cleanser into your face and watch the light, refreshing foam do all the dirty work. Last but not least, thoroughly rinse with water!

Tips on how to cleanse your face at home

1. Turn off the hot water. Rinse your skin with comfortably lukewarm — not hot — water. Washing your face with water that’s too hot can leave it damaged, irritated, dried-out or tight-feeling. We also recommend washing your face in the sink, not standing directly under the shower!

2. Avoid harsh exfoliators. Micro beads and rotating brushes may irritate your skin, which can lead to breakouts.

3. Swap makeup wipes for micellar water. Makeup wipes can contain skin irritants (like alcohol) while micellar water is a cleanser, makeup remover, and moisturizer all in one.

4. Put in the time for a good rinse. A quick rinse isn't usually enough for a cleanser to remove dirt or bacteria. Gently cleanse your skin for 30 to 60 seconds to remove the day's impurities.

5. But don't over wash your face. Washing your face too often or for too long can lead to irritation and create more breakouts.
